HTC had a busy day today, they held 2 press events. one in London and the other in New York City. No pressure. So the HTC One (AKA M7) has now been officially announced with availability in March. The specs will have you confused for a moment, 4MP camera? Yes, actually that is not a typo. People in the know, know that a high quality 4MP sensor is more than enough to produce a great picture. There is always more to the specs, HTC says that this sensor allows 330% more light to be captured, than the sensors found in modern phones. The individual pixels are larger, that is what allows them to capture more light.
Asides from the nitty gritty details of the sensor, the phone is supposed to be available on about 80 carriers in march. Below you will find a few images to tide you over until March or Samsung’s Galaxy S IV or even the new LG Optimus G Pro or the next Nexus (what ever that will be called).
Our only serious questions are, will the boot loader be locked and if not, when will CyanogenMod support it; also can we have photo sphere?
